EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED PERSON - WY BOROUGH OFFICE
1/8/2013 - 4:00:00 PM

1/8/13 @ 4:00 P.M. - WYBPD were contacted by borough secretary advising that a female juvenile had walked-in to office to the front desk asking for help.   A patrolman recognized her from a prior missing person report that was submitted to WYBPD the day prior, on 1/7/13.   While interacting with this juvenile, the patrolman observed that she was largely incoherent as she attempted to speak, was slow and sluggish, and she appeared dirty and disheveled.  The patrolman then determined that she was in need of medical assistance and then transported her to York Hospital's mental health unit for further evaluation.   The juvenile's mother was also contacted and requested to respond also to York Hospital.   The patrolman later canceled the entry that was previously made into NCIC listing the juvenile as a runaway/missing person.

Further investigation pending results of medical and mental evaluations.
