DUI ARREST - 1200 BLOCK OF W. MARKET ST.

1/4/13 @ 11:51 P.M. - WYBPD observed a black Kia Sephia bearing Pennsylvania registration plates commit a traffic violation at the intersection of W. Market St. and Highland Ave. The patrolman also recognized the operator to be an Aubrey HALL, 19 W/F, residing in the 1200 block of W. Princess St, West York, who also had an active and outstanding warrant for her arrest, from a prior incident that occurred within the borough.
@ 11:51 P.M. - WYBPD performed a traffic stop on this Kia within the 1200 block of W. Market St. Upon stopping, the driver and two other female occupants then fled on foot from the vehicle, and in between homes within the block.
With the assistance of a second WYBPD patrolman, all three subjects were quickly apprehended between these homes within the 1200 block of W. Market. St.
Further investigation determined that in addition to having the warrant, HALL was also found to be under the influence of alcohol and narcotics while under the age of 21 and operating a motor vehicle. HALL refused to perform field sobriety tests claiming that she would fail them regardless since she believed that she was over the limit. HALL was then transported to Central Booking for processing and warrant service.
A second female that was apprehended, was identified as Nicole PIERCE, 22 Y.O.A., W/F, residing in the 6000 block of Laird Rd., Dover. PIERCE was found to be in possession of narcotic paraphernalia and criminal charges were filed at the magistrate. Pierce was then released.
The third female was also identified, and has yet to be charged for any of her actions in this incident.
