VEHICLE PURSUIT - W. MARKET @ N. ADAMS ST

7/11/13 @  3:20 P.M. - A WYBPD patrolman operating a marked police cruiser observed a known suspended driver operating a black Honda motorcycle bearing Pennsylvania registration at the intersection of W. Market and N. Adams streets.
 
The patrolman intercepted this motorcyle in the vicinity of N. Adams and Bannister streets and then signaled for this operator to stop.  The motorcycle continued westbound on Bannister St., into W. Manchester Township, ignoring the patrolmans visual signals and audible sirens to stop.   This patrolman then discontinued pursuit after observing this operator accelerate rapidly to approximately 100 mph and travel through the intersection of White St. disregarding the red traffic control stop signal.   A BOLO was broadcasted via countywide radio '
radio broadcast.
 
The patrolman returned to the borough and then began working on an arrest warrant for this perpetrator, Anthony Edward HAWKINS, 27 Y.O.A., B/M to be residing within the 1500 block of Monroe St., West York Boorugh.
 
A warrant for HAWKINS arrest is to be obtained, evening patrolmen were advised apprehend if found.
