RESIDENTIAL SEARCH WARRANT - 1103 W. KING ST

3/19/13 @  10:30 A.M.- WYBPD began a narcotic investigation based upon information received from the WYFD Codes Enforcement.  
 
WYFD reported to WYBPD that while conducting  a scheduled routine inspection of rental unit located at 1103 W. King St , observed what he believed to be marijuana stems and blunts in an ash tray. The complainant also reported that a strong odor of marijuana was also present throughout the residence.    Two adults were observed passed out while numerous (5-7) children were observed scurrying around this apartment wearing only soiled diapers and clothing.
 
@ 4:00 P.M. - WYBPD was able to secure a search warrant and along with officers of the York County Drug Task Force, executed this search warrant at this residence.   Two adult males and one female occupant were immediately detained.  Marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia were located and secured as evidence.
 
Two residents were then placed into custody and transported to Central Booking.   1)  Theadric WILLIAMS, 24 Y.O.A. B/M and 2) Joanny MEDINA, 26 Y.O.A., H/F, both residing at the rental unit, 1103 W. King St., West York Borough. 
 
WILLIAMS claimed the narcotics and paraphernalia were his and he was subsequently charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
 
MEDINA was not criminally charged for her role in this incident, however WYBPD located two (2) outstanding arrest warrants for School Code violations, she was then turned over to deputies for processing.
 
The third adult male was later determined to be a visitor and was released on scene.  
 
The observations of the children will be referred to the family's pre-assigned caseworker from Children, Youth and Families.
